The Hotelicopter

In this day and age of job losses, economic downfall and foreclosed homes, what better than to showcase another item that oozes blatant excess. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Hotelicopter. This monstrosity is by the Mikhail Leontyevich Mil helicopter plant in Panki-Tomilino, Russia and will be the world's largest helicopter...

The company has been engineering this behemoth since 2004, and will feature 18 luxuriously-appointed soundproofed rooms, queen-sized beds, fine linens, a mini-bar, coffee machine, wireless internet access, and all the luxurious appointments you’d expect from a flying five star hotel. The first flight will set to go on Friday, June 26th 2009.

I can't wait to see this thing in flight, lol. It must be nice....
