Brooklyn Mecca

Shouts to the Brooklyn Mecca crew and the ladies of MAWU featured in this video. It seems everyone is bringing old school breakdancing back but I wanted to showcase some good, old fashioned house dancing. This crew has been doing it for years and it is a movement that has been bubbling in BK for sometime. Their moves combine classic house moves with traditional African dance, capoeira, modern dance, breaking and anything else the vibe calls for at the time...they are flavorful and can ride any rhythm playing...I love it! I've seen them perform and you can't help but move....I'd rather watch them over Beyonce dance any day...they have much more soul..
