Willie Hutch

One of the best to ever do it...

This reminds me of the days when my homeboy (whatup James!) and I where in the Army. We'd roll out to NY from NC for a weekend and the soundtrack of "The Mack" would stay in the tapedeck (yeah, I said tapedeck youngings..lol)

Alot of people just don't know how talented Mr. Hutch was. The man has produced for Michael Jackson, The 5th Dimension, Smokey Robinson and many other Motown artists. He wrote "I'll Be There" for the Jackson 5 fyi...He was known for his stirring instrumentals as well, which was evident in the soundtracks he produced for 70's era movies like "The Mack" and "Foxy Brown".

Nuff respect to Willie Hutch and his legacy of great music that is still enjoyed to this day...
