Miguel Atwood-Ferguson feat. Flying Lotus

I stumbled across this live collaboration between Miguel and Flying Lotus and could not help but wonder at the brilliance displayed on that stage. I'm very happy to see jazz, hip hop, classical and funk being seamlessly merged like this. Thunder Cat was killing that bass too. Amazing stuff. Video after the jump....

  1. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Flying Lotus! If I could have a soundtrack to my life, I would want himm to provide the music because he are nothing short of amazing! And Miguel Atwood is sick on those strings! I play the violin too :) I'm loving this marriage of hip-hop and jazz and it's lil side affair it has going on with classical because even though the baby it produced is kinda different from what we are used to, it is undoubtedly dope! (sorry, i tend to start speaking in metaphors lol, i hope you caught what i'm TRYING to say though :P)
