revisit, look forward.

The below photo was taken a few years ago while on a business trip and is one of the images I revisited today and now see differently. This will be added to my fine art portfolio after seeing it with a new set of eyes and broader vision.

As an artist, photographer, creative, I think it is important to revisit previous work and see how far we have come. I rather enjoy the process and only hope in 20 years I will be doing the same with the work I am producing today. Follow your vision and continue to look not at today, but where you will be artistically, in business and life down the road but don't be afraid to look back every now and then, you never know what jewels you may find.

I finally had the chance to visit the North Carolina Museum of Art since the completion of its recent $138 million dollar renovation.  I have to say it looks quit impressive...

untitled..

A fine art piece I completed while taking a mental break from the tediousness of "work".  Lately my work has been all over the place...from clean and technical to experimentation and, well, trying something different every once and a while.  Lately, I've felt the growing need to use type in conjunction with my photography.  As a graphic designer, one would think it only natural, however, I can finally say I'm comfortable with it.  My passions continue to grow and I'm having fun again.
